What we’ll do

We'll walk through sites of historical & modern protests that happened in Moscow during last century from the first Soviet demonstration of 1956 to the sites of 2017 protest wave. Working as a conflict photographer since 2010, I have published 3 albums, won multiple contests and covered most of the major events happening in Russia and other countries. I'll show you some historical pics of old…

What else you should know

You can take a camera with you, but you have to be ready to a relatively long walk through the city center

Where you'll be

We'll start at a park with toppled Soviet monuments, then to Christ-the-Saviour cathedral where Pussy Riot performed. From there we'll go to the site of 2011/12 protests and to the epicenter of anti-communists protests in 80s. And we'll finish at Pushkinskaya square where the first such demo occured and the current ones are happening
