My name is Xolisa Bangani, I am the founder of Ikhaya Garden, and I have been making gardening cool since 2013. I see myself as a soil artist, using the soil as a philosophy to change the world. By changing the composition of the soil, we are changing the world.

Ikhaya Garden is a registered no-profit oragnisation, a school based community project not just focusing on gardening but painting a positive picture for the community, creating relations with the school while giving platforms and opportunities for young people.

This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Ikhaya Garden .

Where you'll be

Ikhaya Garden is located in Isikhokelo Primary School, in the heart of Site C, the oldest part and capital of Khayelitsha. Being in the centre of the township you will get to fully experience its true nature.
