What you'll do

We want you to experience Cappadocia's magical winters on Horseback!

First we will pick you up from your hotel in Göreme (or location nearby, conditions below) and take you to our horse ranch in Cavusin to get you ready for the tour. Your main guide will be Musa, who is the best horse guy you can imagine. He has been on the back of a horse since childhood. And as a native Cappadocian, he knows the trails inside out.

Our Tour will take you through two valleys of Cappadocia. We will start in Cavusin, ride at a slow pace on flat ground, then start going past Rose Valley. On Red Valley you will experience a little bit of a thrill on narrow trails that only our horses can take you. It is a relaxed ride, but you have to be up for a little adventure as well. Especially in winter season we will pay close attention to the weather conditions and plan our routes individually depending on them.

You don't need to be an expert, our horses are used to professionals as well as beginners. We will adapt accordingly.

We respect the individual needs of all our horses. We work for them, they don't work for us. Your and their safety and well-being is all that matters to us. Please note that that's why we have a weight limit of 90 kilos per person.
Other things to note
You will get instructions on how to ride your horse once. Beginners are as welcome as experienced riders. The horses follow each other, so it will be a comfortable ride, but you will have to keep to hold on to the reins at all times. If you have any more questions or concerns, just write us :).

We are the owners of a family-run horse ranch in Cavusin/Göreme, Cappadocia.

Founded by Musa, a Cappadocian Native, who has been on the horse since childhood after his grandfather opened the first horse ranch in the region of Cappadocia decades ago. And by Özlem, a big-city-girl, who found peace in this beautiful place. We both now want to share this experience with you.

Cappadocia's ancient name is "Katpatuka" which can be translated into "The Land of the Beautiful Horses". So we believe the most organic way to explore Valleys & Fairy Chimneys is on the back of a horse. The horses have been here for thousands of years and we are aware that Cappadocia is just as much - if not more - theirs as it ours. We want you to know that we pay close attention to our horse's needs. They come first - always!

We hope you join the adventure!

Gorgeous ride through spectacular landscapes of Cappadocia. Thanks for also being able to switch the time last minute, it allowed for some gorgeous evening light :) Thanks again!

This was my very first experience of horse riding. They were very kind and guided me nicely when the horse was behaving a little bit naughty during the ride. Meanwhile, they will help to take memorable of us with the horses! Besides that, the scenery was really fascinating. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, no regret!

Brought us to see points of interest but didn’t really give us much information about the places themselves. But gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos. Horses were well trained and seemed to be treated well.

We enjoyed our horseback ride in Cappadocia. From reading the description of the experience and the reviews, we expected more from this experience. We thought we would head further into both the Red and Rose valley, but we mainly skirted the outsides of the valley. The scenery was beautiful but the route was something we could've traversed in the same or less time by walking ourselves. I didn't feel like we got much benefit from the horseback experience itself. Ozlem and his partner didn't have much to share on the experience itself, and I felt like they were mainly just lining us up for photo ops on the horses. We'd love to have a richer discussion about the places we are seeing and the history behind them. Overall, the experience was adequate, but was not one of our favorites in Turkey.

This was a wonderful experience. There were only 4 of us and the ride was absolutely beautiful. And with the snow it was even more magical. They did a great job of ensuring you were able to get your pictures and would make photo op stops. The horses were beautiful and well behaved. If they got a mind of their own... it was easy to get them back on course.
