What you'll do
Birdwatching in Lisbon. Around lisbon, in the gardens and natural áreas like Tagus estuary, we will look for more than sixty bird species. Accompanied by a specialized guide, telescope and binoculars, we will make small routes on foot and by car, to find the most characteristic species of this region. From wet fields species in the Tagus estuary to wood and forest species in Jamor Park.

I have been working in conservation for more than 20 years as an ornithologist. For 10 years I am dedicated to showing others my passion for birds and their habitats. I am an experienced birdwatcher in all natural environments in Portugal. Watching birds in Lisbon was an amazing experience for me.

Where you'll be
The Tagus stuary Natural Reserve is one of the most important bird areas in Portugal. The urban parks like Jamor or Monsanto hold a interessante diversity of forest species. The gardens have some naturalised exótic birds, that just can be seen in Lisbon.
