What you'll do
Hi and welcome to Park City, Utah!
Our time together will begin with a meeting in the morning of the first day. We will sort your gear and make sure you are outfitted adequately for the next two days and night. Once our gear is sorted, we will head up to the mountains.
We'll next head to our base camp and have a quick, healthy and locally prepared lunch. We always bake fresh baked treats and breads for our Guests and depending on the season, we will provide home grown and heirloom fruits and vegetables from our very own garden.
After lunch, we'll head out on the trail to find the "just right" stream to pursue Brown, Rainbow and Bonneville Cutthroat trout. We'll work together on the basics of casting a Tenkara fly, what the trout might be interested in feeding on and the habitat for trout. Additionally, as a Naturalist I'll present the various species of flora and fauna of the native habitat.
After an afternoon of fishing we'll head back to base camp, set around the fire, share stories of the day and fall asleep under the stars.
The next morning we'll head out on the creek again to do some more fishing, practicing the skills we developed the day before.
By late afternoon, we'll head back to Park City, with lots of memories and stories to share!

Hi! I live the dream every day. Come experience the Adventure with me!
If you don't see a date/time that suits you, contact me! We continue to work with various industry experts including NOLS, Global Rescue and the Wilderness Medicine Institute to develop and implement health safety protocols.
The technical part of what we will do is learning how to Tenkara fly fish. The transformative part of what we will do is being out there. The Mountains. The Creeks. The Stars. Immersed in the beauty we overlook every day. I'm hopeful this is an Adventure that just might change your life. Let's get out there, together.
I am, a trained professional Guide. I am a certified first responder, Licensed Guide in the state of Utah, Naturalist, Montessori teacher, ski instructor, climbing instructor and Tenkara fly fishing Guide! And a Dad!
