Hello, we are John and Dorothea Sperry! I am a Registered nurse and he is a Facilities Director for The YMCA. We established our farm in 2016 out in the middle of farm country in beautiful Washington County! We are located in Upstate NY but we are only an hour's drive from Albany Airport! Goats are friendly, funny, curious creatures who are smart and capable of learning their names and routines, they are kinda like dogs! Our farm is our happy place and our goats are our pride and joy and we want to share all of it with you!! Please come visit our barn and immerse yourself in our barn with these wonderful animals, it's so relaxing!! And baby goats provide the best entertainment and lots of goat kisses!!

Where you'll be

This experience will be held in our barn located on our farm. The barn is currently undergoing a full restoration and the lower portion of the barn is the first area to be mostly complete. There is also a nice fenced in area where the goats play that guests would also be able to go in weather permitting

This was a great experience! The goats were so cuddly and friendly, just as I was hoping! Dorothea was extremely knowledgeable in the maintenance, upkeep and all relevant or irrelevant fun facts of goats! She shared all of this information with us as we snuggled with goats which made for an interesting experience! She also had goat milk products available for purchase. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful time cuddling with the goats and Dorthea was a wealth of information and gladly answered all our questions about those adorable goats. I highly recommend for a lift in your spirits!

My husband and I had a great time visiting the goats while on our Baby Moon Vacation in Saratoga. It was a bit out of the way but a great visit to see and interact with the baby goats. The location is tough to find, even with GPS but we had a great hour of some much needed goat therapy. Purchased some homemade goat milk soap as well!
