Where you'll be

The only way to get out to Comet and Spencer Glacier is by train ride or helicopter. Heli Landing zone is determined the day-of based on your hiking ambitions & weather of the day. The hike works thru the beautiful Alaskan alpine at approximately 2,000 feet, thru the alder brush, and down to Spencer Glacier terminus lake. GOOD HIKING FOOTWEAR IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This trip is private per booking party.

Correy was our guide for the helicopter hiking and glacier raft tour. It was all so incredible and he was an amazing and thoughtful guide. He went above and beyond and made our experience unforgettable. I was scared at first it was going to be touristy or not worth the expense but it was far from it. Our time was jam packed with incredible scenery you couldn't otherwise see and we have the best pictures. It was so much more than we expected. Everything was well thought out, our lunch which was sandwiches, a cookie, hummus and vegetables were all thoughtfully packaged and high quality. It was amazing hiking down the mountain staring at a glacier with a hot cup of coffee Correy packed and made for us. We loved floating down the river looking and looking up at mountains and sipping a cup of green tea. Out of all of our adventures in AK from Salmon fishing in Kenai to hiking Curry Ridge this was our favorite. Ask for Correy as your guide and go for this experience.

If you are looking for a once-a-life-time adventure, make sure you check out this amazing tour! The crew was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially our guide Sadie. She's been kind, patient, considerate and made our experience really unforgettable. Will definitely come back for more adventures if we are in Girdwood again!

If you are thinking about booking this experience- JUST BOOK IT. It is worth every single penny. Our guide, Cory, was AWESOME. The views are spectacular and the experience overall is just amazing. My husband and I loved this experience so much and highly recommend to everyone who is planning a trip to Alaska. All the guides are super nice, knowledgeable, and very professional. The helicopter ride is wonderful to see all the views and if you’re lucky even a bit of wildlife. The glacier is awesome and the view with the mountains behind it is impeccable. This is by far one of my favorite experiences I have ever done.
