Would happily recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about Rome than you'd get from the usual tourist attractions. Picturesque route with plenty to learn and discover on the way - any trip to Rome isn't complete without this.

Esperienza unica e indimenticabile. È come rivivere nell'antica Roma.

Klare Empfehlung.

If you're looking for an insight into the real ancient Rome and a morning or afternoon getting off the tourist trail, this is the bike tour for you. Sergio had wealth of information about the Appia Antica and Rome's history, and he guided us expertly around this magical area. We really enjoyed being on pedal bikes (not electric ones), as there are no real hills and it's a leisurely and beautiful ride. Also loved the goats and cats (who recognised our guide!) in and around the ruins. Would highly recommend.

This experience was one of the best we have had - and made my first visit to Rome unforgettable. The level of knowledge of Sergio was incredible and he took the time to explain things and allow any questions so that by the end I felt I had a really detailed understanding of Roman history. All the sites he took us to were fascinating, from ancient roman brothels to hidden palaces. This is something I would recommend to anyone, because whether you love history or not the whole experience is so fascinating, with the kind of information and cool details you wouldn't get from a normal tour. The level of cycling was easy and Sergio went at our pace, making it a relaxing way to feel like we were burning off our gelato, and giving us enough time to take in the sights around us. We were able to stop whenever we wanted and Sergio was incredibly kind and took some beautiful pictures of us on his phone. We have already recommended this trip to other people we met in Rome, as it was genuinely unforgettable. Sergio also gave some great recommendations for authentic food places, so make sure to ask! We hope to do this again when we come back!!
