What you'll do
Our cheesetasting offers a glimpse of the (available) product lineup of our workshop, together with a light snack, drinks and wine. If you choose to come in the morning, you’ll be able to watch parts of the cheesemaking process. Your visit means: Greeting in the workshop and start of the cheesetasting. You will get your own platter with different kinds of cheese from our product lineup, as well fruits, nuts, crackers and a drink (water, wine, coffee, tea). In the meantime, we tell you our story, and start showing you our workshop. Starting with the copper kettles we use to heat up the milk, through the entire process of cheesemaking. As a main attraction, we visit the cellar, where we explain the aging process and the tempering our cheesewheels need for optimal taste.

I am István, cheesemaker and owner of the “Manufactura de Brânză” cheese workshop. We started making cheese in 2016 as a means of survival for our farm. What we got is passion for cheese and artisanship! Responsibility for healthy, clean food is what drives us, to become better, varied in products and of higher quality.
