What you'll do
This experience is hosted by selected members of our band of facilitators bringing together and exposing the diverse culture of South Africa. Our team consists of seasoned musicians from all corners of South Africa, bringing together the different rhythms and sounds from around the African continent. After introductions, we will explore these elements and the impact of sound on the human psyche through djembe drumming lessons, workshopping and an exhilarating rhythmic experience for a healthy release and a restorative connection. We will journey together through the various native sounds of Africa and rhythms of life. Somewhere during the drumming our we will switch to our instruments for an interactive jam session featuring you on drums. By playing the grooves you learn on the djembe drum we join in and perform some of our original music and compositions with you. During breaks we share our experiences and local history as artists and as much info about the city and surrounds to make your visit in Cape Town as wholesome and rewarding as possible! The studio avails the opportunity to capture memorable photos and video featuring stunning views of Table mountain whilst enjoying our delicious meal by Pitso', one of Cape Town's top local restaurant
