What you'll do

Starting from the City Bridge, we will take a panorama of the City Center. After that, we will sail towards to the nearby island Ugljan. There are some beautiful beaches on the island where we can stop for a swim. We can also visit some beautiful villages on the island Ugljan and small islands that surround the island Ugljan. There are some very special places, like Ošljak island (the smallest inhabited island in Croatia), sandy beach Jaz on the island Ugljan (with coffee bars, souvenirs and fresh sea food restaurants), island Galevac (small island with a 15th-century Franciscan monastery which is since 1959 only accessible by a small paddle boat). We will choose which places to visit, depending on the weather conditions.
Your cruise will take place on the nearby island of Zadar and that it is a great way to experience the local islands and its bays where big tourist ships have no access.

We reserve the right to cancel the experience:
-in case of bad weather
-minimum number of participants is not met (2)

Other things to note:
- the tour is made for maximum 10 people
- our skippers will be at your disposal during the whole tour (they are well-trained, knowledgeable and communicative)

Hi, my name is Andrej. I am a professor of history and geography and a great sea lover, also I am founder of „Banalis boats“, a small business that I started by myself. Five years ago I bought a boat from 1985 and spent a year reconstructing it, mostly by myself using the skills I've learned over a long period of time with my older relatives. Since my early childhood I have been on my cousin's boat exploring all the islands and bays of Zadar archipelago, fishing and spearfishing. I decided to show people the beauty of the nearby islands and bays and the places where I spent my time with my family and friends. Thanks to the knowledge of geography and history combined with the experience of years spent at sea I am happy to share this with people who are interested in exploring natural beauty of nearby islands, swimming and walking.

Andrej was a wonderful host and guide! I didn't feel rushed or anything; in fact, it was like exploring with a friend. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the islands and their natural beauty, as well as the excellent historical background that Andrej provided 👌 We also stopped to watch the sunset on the way back, which was awe inspiringly beautiful and certainly lends credence to Alfred Hitchcock's claim that Zadar's sunset is the best in the world 🌅

Definitely recommend! Andrej and Nathalja were extremely friendly and would adjust the tour to our wishes. We got to see beautiful landscapes we would’ve missed out on otherwise. All in all a very special trip for us!

I had a nice tour to different remote islands with Andrej and Natalie. Andrej and Natalie are super nice and friendly, and they would suggest different destination routes and things to do & see. On top of that, they also talked about the history and some stories about the islands which I found interesting. The remote islands are like heavens to me, because you would not see much tourism commercial, and they are all very local and native. We went to an island, and the water was so clean that I saw sea cucumber and sea urchin. I stepped on the sea urchin and believe me it was a pain in the neck to pull the spike out. Thanks to Andrej's and Natalie's first Aid knowledge with the habitat, my toe was recovered in time for the next voyage.

The boat trip was an absolute joy. It is super flexible, you get to see small beautiful islands, can go snorkeling and we even saw a dolphin. We went to a nice restaurant on one of the islands with fresh fish. Andrej welcomed us in the beginning of the trip and then it was just me, my boyfriend and the two skippers, which were super funny, knowledgable and had complete control over the boat. We had such a good time, I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to have a nice and relaxing adventure :) Greetings to our skippers, Nicole and Jan
