What you’ll do
The Latin Quarter has been Paris's intellectual heartland since the Middle Ages—where Descartes, Hemingway, Sartre, and Verlaine once lived, wrote, and argued on the same streets. I've been studying Sartre's philosophy at the Sorbonne, and I'll bring that insider depth to every step.
On this 2.5-hour tour, we'll start at Café La Contrescarpe, then move through the area visiting the Panthéon, Sorbonne, and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, pausing at each author's home to read aloud from their works.
