What you'll do
At the [Un]Censored Gaudí Tour we will discover the most influential and famous person of Barcelona: Antoni Gaudí. We will describe his most important techniques and works, and also we will show the human Gaudí in order to get to know his work and understand, not only the metamorphosis that the city suffered during the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, but also it will help us realize the current Barcelona, for example the Catalan independence movement. We will visit the Ciutat Vella where he began his work and took his first steps as an architect and the Eixample where he developed all his potential to finish in the second most visited monument in Europe: La Sagrada Familia.
I have been a citizen of Barcelona for over 17 years, I studied Political Science in Montevideo and am currently studying Sociology in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, also I am a youth basketball referee. I am passionate about history and love sharing it with others, that's why i have worked as a tour guide for several years and I love doing it. I like to show visitors the perspective of a local, so that they can understand and live the city better. This experience gives me the opportunity to combine these activities with the passion to show the city where I have chosen to live.
