Welcome aboard a little ship, a 40 Ft Trawler. "Alameda Star" is a very comfortable twin diesel trawler that is comfortable, roomy, and leisurely--about 10kts.

Up to six guests can take a sunset cruise with an experienced USCG Licensed Captain exploring the wonders of San Francisco Bay. We'll depart at 5:00 pm from Jack London Square in Oakland. We'll first explore Oakland's Inner Harbor and cruise down to Coast Guard Island. We'll then head west along Alameda's coastline and see the Liberty Ship ramps and Alameda Houseboats. As we head west we'll enter the shipping channel before crossing the bay heading towards South Beach Harbor. The harbor is also at the foot of AT&T Stadium, home of the SF Giants. We'll tour through South Beach Harbor which offers spectacular views of downtown before heading under the Bay Bridge towards the Ferry Building. Heading back across the bay we'll see sea lions on Treasure Island while the sun sets to the west.

What an amazing experience! My guy and I booked the Sunset cruise and David definitely helped us create a memorable moment sailing through the Bay! So romantic. It was a first time experience for me and my love and we enjoyed every second. David gave us wine glasses, we poured drinks, connected my Spotify to his bluetooth speaker and it was smooth sailing from there. You are left with no choice but to enjoy what God created! where to even start! capt. dave was so knowledgeable and friendly and really went above and beyond to make each guest feel engaged and satisfied. he had an array of beverages, snacks and warm appetizers. he even stopped near the bay bridge and took pictures for each group. i would book this trip again and recommend it to any one of my friends!!! thank you dave!

If you're contemplating this tour, just book it. I wish i had 4 hands, so i could give this tour 4 thumbs up. Great captain, great route, and a great time. His boat was sparkling clean, comfortable, and beautiful.

Captain Dave went above and beyond for us, we were late due to car trouble and he was patient with us and very accommodating. We felt completely taken care of and safe on the cruise. The views were amazing and it was a lovely way to spend the evening. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful. We were last minute add-on’s and Captain David was still glad to accommodate. The tour was around three hours and we saw so many excellent views of the bay. It was us and only one other couple, and the captain was cool with us bringing our dog too. Her name is Kit, AKA Kitty, AKA Boat Dog! Captain David told us interesting things about all the sights while also giving us space to talk uninterrupted. We had the run of the boat so we were allowed to be up with the captain, and on the comfortable deck with comfy chairs and a love seat (and mini fridge), and even lounging in the lower living quarters with good window views all around. FYI bring a camera or a smart phone with a good lens. It’s beautiful and It’s seriously a great time. I would recommend to anyone.
