What you'll do

Enjoy a morning of floral magic at our Vermont flower farm, located in the beautiful West River Valley north of Brattleboro. Learn how to make a floral arrangement that you can re-create at home with blooms from your garden, farmer’s market, or grocery store. To begin we’ll enjoy a morning cuppa on the covered porch. Examine colors, textures, and fragrances of the freshly harvested flowers we’ll soon play with. We also love sharing our knowledge about places to visit in the area. Next we’ll stroll through the farm’s field &/or greenhouse (weather permitting) clipping any special flowers you’d like to use. Take your time enjoying the vibe of a summer morning in the country. Keep an eye out for hummingbirds and butterflies! After your meander through the blooms, we’ll return to the shade of the porch where I’ll demonstrate making an arrangement. I’ll cover tips and tricks for making flowers last longer, basic design process, and how to grow your own or buy local flowers near you. Then you’ll be set free to create your own arrangement using any flowers you'd like! After your design is complete, you'll have a chance to take photos. Then I’ll pack it up for you to take (or, if you’re travel restricted, we’ll arrange to donate your flowers locally). Bring (or borrow) a picnic blanket to enjoy any remaining time in chill mode around the farm before continuing on your day.

Welcome to Tanglebloom, a floral design studio and small organically managed flower farm near Brattleboro, Vermont. We invite you to join us for a fun, relaxing experience on our flower farm! As a floral designer, I create one-of-a-kind florals inspired by the season for weddings and events throughout New England. We also sell our fresh bouquets at local shops, host workshops, and offer a unique farmstay cabin on Airbnb. One of my favorite activities is walking through the flower garden on a summer morning to harvest blooms for a special arrangement. Join me and I'll show you how to create an arrangement to take with you with flowers harvested fresh from our farm. You'll learn to notice and appreciate color, texture, shape, and fragrance like never before in a friendly, laid-back environment. {Learn more about us at tanglebloom.com}
