The meeting point will be the Pipila Monument. Access to it is behind the emblematic Teatro Juárez. From there we will go to the Cerro de la Bufa which is 15 - 20 minutes on foot. Before the ascent, the condition and rhythm of the group will be taken into account in order to take the most appropriate route. Along the way I will tell you important information, a little about the culture and traditions of the city. Once we are at the top, we will take a break and a snack will be provided for you. Hi!
My name is Carlos and I am originally from the city of Guanajuato. Since I was a child I have really liked outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, mountain biking. I live very close to the Cerro de la Bufa so I usually go at least once a week accompanied by my dogs. I know the different routes to get to the places where you can enjoy the best sunsets in Guanajuato.

What an amazing experience! A must-do in Guanajuato. Carlos is super cool and we loved Uni the dog too! We would definitely book this again. The sandwich at the top is much appreciated after a hard trek up the hill. I would say that it’s challenging for sure, but worth it for the view. Wear good shoes and be ready for a steep but enjoyable hike. I wish Carlos had more experiences! We’d book them all

We had such a great time hiking up to La Bufa with Carlos. He was a really friendly guy and was really supportive even though we’re not experienced hikers! I loved that he bought his dog along for the hike too! The view from the top was really amazing, but the sunset was the best part 🙂

Carlos is very accommodating. The weather wasn’t great and he was flexible with changing the time of the climb. He’s warm, relaxed, speaks perfect English, and he made our experience great!
