What you'll do

We will be making a unique one of a kind glass paperweight. This hot glass paperweight is shaped using glass tools. Pull and shape the color patterns in this fun experience.

Meet us in our small gallery where you will be taken on a tour of a working glassblowing studio. We make barware and art for hotels in our hotshop. After a quick intro to glassblowing and the techniques used, you will be given one on one instruction while creating your glass paperweight. Feel free to bring your camera, fun photo opportunities are to be had! The experience will end with a question and answer time in our gallery.

**Please note, at this time we are practicing social distancing and require face masks. No blown objects are available at this time. The paperweight is the only option available that allows for social distancing.

Please wear cotton clothing and closed toed shoes.

Guests must come back 2 days later to pick up their glass piece or arrange to have it shipped (we currently only ship within the United States).

**Face Masks, Closed Toed Shoes & Cotton Clothing are required to enter the building**

This was great, the experience was awesome, fun and interesting. Aaron clearly has a passion for his job and loves sharing that passion with others. It was so much fun, only complaint is I couldn’t make even more glass!

This was a pretty cool first time experience. I took my 14 year old and my husband and they both had a great experience. Perfect bonding activity for sure.

Fun, different way to spend a morning! They gave a great overview, helped you figure out what to make, and were great answering questions and making a low-key welcoming environment.

What a GREAT experience! Heather pleasently greeted me as I entered. The previous class was leaving and the participants were excited to tell me how much fun the class would be. Aaron is a very experienced glass blower and makes sure you engage SAFELY in the process. I was actually in a class solo (my partner couldn't make it) and Heather and Aaron were good with me making my partners paper weight. It was the highlight of my visit to the city. Briana

Definitely recommend! You get a thorough and engaging explanation of glass blowing before getting into action. The group of attendees is small so you can ask as much questions as you like without fearing session's time to run out. The best part is when you actually get to do your own glass art!

An amazing experience working on glass with our hosts Aaron and Heather. The workshop was really well organized, it looked really hard and impossible at first but the hosts made it safe and fun to work with such unique material and art form. Aaron was very patient and funny, answered all of our questions well and guided us through everything. It was a great experience and it sparked our interest in glassblowing. 10/10 recommended!
