What you'll do

Chiang Mai got a reputation as the "Capital city of coffee" our small group will visit 4 local-cafes that drive by a passionate owner who takes a coffee to the next level, drinks their signature and inspired by a story behind.

1) Micro-roaster, We’ll meet local roaster, the backbone of the coffee industry, who seriously bring the best from a coffee bean to a cup. Learn more about what is in the taste of a coffee.

2) Kissaten a Japanese-cafe, meets an owner who didn't call himself a barista but just a guy who carries on his grandmother-in-law Moka pot technic. I also surprise everytime I drink his unique coffee.

We’ll stop for a lunch break at my favorite noodle shop.

3) Time for a refreshment, We’ll visit a third-wave Cafe and a owner who master his cold-brew method.

4) Slow paced casual move to an artistic space that serves an instagramable drink, a coffee that tastes like a cocktail! Tea-shop also available if the group prefers.

The tour was personalized based on your coffee knowledge and what sort of cafes you like so don’t hesitate to let me know any specialty you may have. In the end, I hope this experience will save you precious time and connecting you to your coffee favorites.

I have lived in Chiang Mai for over five years. I'm a home host and always recommend my guests for a hidden gem. At the same time, I love to explore a family-run cafe, meet the owner and talk with their inspiration behind the cup. #4cupnotenough see our activity on IG. Why don’t we have many cups of coffee together :-)

I have had an outstanding experience with passionate knowledgable people who love what they do. Khun Nutth's english skill is very high and meant that it was very easy to connect with him and to talk and learn so much more about Chiang Mai, local coffee production, Roasting and tasting. He took me to some excellent places and I got to try different styles of coffee that I normally would not have experienced. He was able to quickly understand the types of coffee that I enjoy and worked around that. I was lucky to be the only person on the tour and this gave me more quality time to talk and taste. I certainly am on a caffeine high after the tour but in a good way thats for sure. I would highly recommend this tour for all coffee lovers and for those wishing to know more about what you drink, where it comes from and the varieties available in Chiang Mai. A great tour for native English speakers and also for Thai's looking to improve their coffee knowledge. Khun Nutth and his wife are wonderful hosts and I would do this tour again on my next visit to Chiang Mai as the coffee culture is constantly changing all for the better. Thank you so much, LOVED it.

If you are thinking to yourself, is it really worth it to go on a coffee tour? The answer is yes. It is a wonderful experience of visiting different artisanal coffee makers at different locations across the city. At most of the locations you get to select what coffee drink you and to try. It is a slow paced casual move through different coffee shops with time to talk to the owners/barista, discuss coffee growing and processing in Thailand, and meet other guest on the tour. If you enjoy a good cup of coffee I would 100% recommend this tour.

Didn’t know there was a coffee scene in Chiang mai? That’s why you need to take this tour. Nutth goes out of his way to stay ‘in the loop’ on the authentic and delicious going’s-on in the area. The tour was well planned, very informative, and very delicious. I don’t look at any coffee the same!

Nutth is a coffee guru with local connections to amazing coffee places. We tried a variety of coffees and got to meet the owners of the shops to learn about their technique. Highly recommend!

you might think you know a lot about coffee, but you'll learn something new for sure! It was a very artful and fun coffee experience. Try to pace yourself during tastings if you're not use to drinking a lot of coffee!
