This was a truly amazing experience. Our host David greeted us with a refreshing drink made with an orange liqueur and provided us with a brief history of the liqueur and of the venue itself. It was personalized for our group in that the whole course was offered in a mixture of English, French and Spanish to cater to the fact that all of us had different degrees of language skills 😆
David went the extra mile in getting Simón, his intern, to chat with us. He was so helpful in providing suggestions on what to do in Argentina and his English skills added an extra bonus to this experience. Rafael, who taught us to make empanadas, was exceedingly patient with our halting Spanish and was a very lovely person.
At the end we got to eat the amazing empanadas we’d made and were offered some complimentary house wine - which they make once a year and we happened to be in town for!
Definitely worth visiting again if only to also have some of their regular menu items - the venue itself is really beautiful and in a cute neighbourhood.
