What we’ll do

Starting at Belfast city hall and finishing by the Beacon of Hope beside the river Lagan, the tour visits 7 locations in the city centre where major incidents occurred between 1971 and 1976. What else you should know

The tour will take place regardless of the weather. Belfast City Centre is completely flat, so no hills or steps are involved. We do not recommend the tour for children under 12 years old.

What I’ll provide

Equipment
We provide audio headsets to allow you to hear the guide clearly at all times throughout the tour. We can also give you book lists and film lists if you would like to explore our history further after the tour.

What to bring

Where you'll be

Starting at Belfast city hall, we will visit 7 locations in the heart of the city including the pedestrianised central shopping area, the Cathedral Quarter, home to some of our best and worst bars, restaurants and street art, and then finish by the Beacon of Hope on the banks of the river Lagan, with views across to the Castlereagh Hills and the iconic cranes in Harland & Wolff.
