What you'll do
Dolphin Day Sail
During the two-hour sail, we'll see dolphin, pelicans, herons, osprey and egrets as well as other wildlife common to the low country. We can beach the cat at one the nearby isolated islands and do some swimming too if you like. If you'd like the experience of sailing first hand, your captain will give you the helm and with some instruction, you will be sailing a very quick catamaran! Your captain is an experienced maritime guide who can tell you all about the maritime history and culture of Charleston and the low country so feel free to ask questions! Bring a camera and feel free to BYOB! We have a cooler on board.

This experience was thoughtfully crafted with large comfy bean bags, each accommodating two couples socially distanced, spiced apple cider and blankets were delicious and cozy on the nippier part of the ride as the run was setting. Johnny did a fantastic job making us feel at home on the water. We did see a 1/2 dozen dolphins too, and they are my favorite animal since childhood, so it really touched my heart to see them. Thanks for an amazing experience Johnny!

We had a great sail with Captain Johnny! We were a group of 4 and felt comfortable with social distancing on the boat. Johnny was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful setting on the Folly River and overall a very relaxing sunset sail. Would definitely recommend as a fun activity for a nice day!

Can’t recommend this experience enough! My boyfriend and I sailed with one other couple and Captain Johnny. We didn’t know the other couple, but there was plenty of room for social distancing onboard the sailboat and I felt comfortable the whole time. We had an amazing time relaxing, taking in the views, and getting to know everyone. It was an evening very well spent!
