Where you'll be

We'll be doing many stops during the day, beginning at El Tule, later on going to the rug weaving in Teotitlan del Valle, having a long drive to Hierve el Agua. Half way of the tour we have a lunch stop at one of my favorite restaurants (and favorite part of the tour) in Mitla. After having lunch we visit the archeological site of Mitla and last go to the mezcal tasting!

It would be hard to have this experience in Oaxaca without Yeti. If it’s your first time in Oaxaca, don’t miss out and take the tour!

Wife and I went on this tour, our first time in Oaxaca. And I’d say it’s a must! Great experiences in lots of hard to get locations. Our guide, Alejandra, was extremely knowledgeable and had a passion for the area’s history!

This was a fantastic trip. Even after several weeks, it is still hard for me to believe how much we saw, did, explored, experienced, in one day. Everything was very unique and wonderful in its own way. From visiting the amazingly large and beautiful "Tree of Life" to the artisanal rug weaving shop (FANTASTIC!) to the mountains and petrified waterfalls to the mezcal producers, it was just a fantastic trip. I must say that even the lunch was very good. I will always remember this great day, and I certainly encourage others to sign up. Get a good night's rest before your day with Yeti or Alejandra, because your body, heart, and mind will be filled the next day.

Overall, this is a wonderful tour. I especially enjoyed visiting the weavers, and meeting Ms. Maria. Hierve al agua and Mitla are beautiful. I would have liked to learn more in depth about Mescal making, but overall this was a well-organized tour and Yeti is an excellent and fully bilingual communicator and has a lovely, sparky personality.

Fue una increíble experiencia. Bastante bien organizada la visita a los lugares, con el tiempo suficiente para permanecer en ellos, Alejandra (hermana de Yeti) nos dió información muy clara e interesante. Sin duda la recomendamos!!
