Your guide Marvis&Fei will share the remarkable story of each artist and their work, including the history of the artists and the island, unique techniques, different art form and their making process. Your walking tour also includes exclusive access to printmaking and sculpture studios to see the producing process, the perfect opportunity for your adventure into Granville’s art community. You’ll have the chance to talk to artists just like an old friend. This walking tour is a must-do for people who are new to Granville Island and want to have some real art experience! Granville island started to gather artists after the WWII and developed into an art-based community which includes crafts and fine art studios. 晨晔

Marvis is a visual art student at the University of British Columbia. Right now, she is working with artists who have been on the island for decades, and this opportunity allows her to dig into the local artist's community and learn about their artworks. Fei is a local printmaking artist graduated from the University of Alberta, where she studied printmaking, oil painting, sculpture and industrial design and developed unique aesthetic insights in artwork. After graduation, she worked in China for one and a half years in printmaking. After two years in Vancouver, she developed her own printmaking career and work at Malaspina printmaking studio

We will walk on beautiful Granville Island, starting from the studios on cartwright street, and finish at Railspur Alley.
