What you'll do

This 5-hour guided tour encompasses Downtown Vancouver and highlights the very best sights, attractions, and biking that the city has to offer! With plenty of stops for stories, questions and photos, you'll be a local-expert by the end of your day.

Beginning at our bike shop in the heart of Downtown, we'll get fitted for bikes then join the protected bikeway right outside. We'll head to world-famous Stanley Park and ride through the rainforest trails past old-growth trees, making stops at Lost Lagoon, the Totem Poles and Beaver Lake. We'll carry on past some of the hottest beaches in the city, then hop over to Granville Island, known for its arts & culture scene as well as its great food and shopping. Enjoy a break for lunch at the Public Market, with dozens of vendors to choose from.

Next we'll carry on along the seawall to Olympic Village, taking in the views of Vancouver's modern architecture, before heading into the historic districts of Chinatown and Gastown. Finally we'll cruise back to the shop through Coal Harbour.

Come along for expert storytelling and to learn about the history, ecology, geography, and culture of the region at a variety of scenic stops throughout the city. Leave with great local recommendations for restaurants and activities for the rest of your trip.

We had the best time biking around Vancouver with our guide, Greg. Although it ended up being a private tour due to COVID-19, Greg ensured that we enjoyed every second of it anyway. He was hilarious and knowledgeable, always ready to answer any questions we had or make recommendations on his favourite places around the city. We really appreciated that there was not only an acknowledgement of the honest history of the Indigenous population in Vancouver, but it was woven into the tour and we were provided with a very rich resource email at the end of the tour for us to read (and listen!) more into. The tour itself covered a lot of what we wanted to see in Vancouver in a short amount of time, and the biking was not too strenuous. We would recommend this experience to anyone!

The best way to explore Vancouver and to cover a large ground in 5 hrs. The guide was fantastic! He was full of facts and knowledge about the city’s history and major events, made recommendations for places to visit, eat or go out, and also shared personal stories which were relevant and engaging. Safety was a priority for the company and I definitely experienced it through the guide’s instructions. The 5-hr ride might seem a long time on a bike but the tour had nicely timed stops to show something in the city, regroup and have a drink of water. Highly recommended.

This tour was truly awesome. You really cover a lot of ground, but you do so in a very relaxed way, so just about anyone can do it. Almost all of the tour follows dedicated bike paths along the sea wall and through Stanley Park, so you aren’t riding alongside cars very much at all. Our guide, Oliver, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he made the ride very fun. The views you’ll see are amazing. Stanley Park is beautiful and is a must-see. This is a truly great way to get introduced to Vancouver if you’ve never been. By the way, during our tour it rained most of the time (this was in March), but we enjoyed the tour anyway. It’s that good. (And it helps to wear the right clothing for a rainy day.)

Bob was the tour guide for me. Was a great experience and covered many parts of Vancouver downtown even the not so touristic ones. Being a bright sunny day helped!

Our family loved this experience. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are new to vancouver; we got such a good introduction to the city. The route (with its dedicated bike lanes even on the streets) is safe for children too!

Our guide Hillary was awesome. She gave us such an honest insight into the culture, history and current status of Vancouver. We covered so many sights on the bikes and the highlights for me was crusing through Stanley Park and catching the ferry to Granville island. Despite the rain and cold we all really enjoyed the trip and learnt so much. Would totally recommend the bike tour.
