I did my master in International business, and then I decided to join hands with my dad who is doing Blue Pottery for last 35 years and helping the people of our community to grow and earn. I rejected a corporate job offer and join hands with my dad to save this dying art and promote this around the world. i have taken workshops of this art around the world in Egypt, USA, Thailand.

If you're looking to escape the bustle and noise of Jaipur, and yet still be immersed in its history and culture, this is a great way to spend time. Not only do you learn all about the ancient pottery practice, but it's hands on. Garima is a wonderful mix of traditional and modernity. You listen to music on a super retro digital radio while creating your very own version of pottery. I highly recommend this experience.

This was the highlight of our trip to India! We needed a break from shopping and the hustle and bustle of India. Garima did an amazing job of explaining the craft of Jaipur blue pottery—I had no idea the amount of work that went into it. The space was very open and quiet, and painting was incredibly relaxing. We enjoyed learning about Garima and her family’s craft and even went home with a few extra pieces of art!

Set up as a workshop led by the lovely Garima, we first heard about the entire process and then created our own little masterpieces. At this studio everything is hand made on site.. each piece takes over a month to complete. They make their own glaze and hand grind colour pigments to get the shine and depth that last a lifetime. Painting on a sun dried clay plate was a very unique and therapeutic experience.. somewhere between water-colouring and mural painting.. highly recommend it!

This was a wonderful experience. Garima gave us a fantastic tour of the studio and did a fantastic job detailing how the pottery is made. We had TONS of questions that she answered! We got to take part in some of the parts of making the pottery and that was really special. Garima sat with us while we painted our own plates and we had a really lovely conversation about how she approaches her work, why she feels the pottery is so special, and what life is like in Jaipur. Overall this was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend it!
