Seattle's Underground Donut Tour

Seattle, Washington, United States

Experience hosted by Jeff

  1. 2 hours
  2. Hosted in English

What you'll do

On this tour, you'll join me as we explore the city and food culture through the medium of donuts. You'll learn history of Seattle, each donut location, how they fit into the larger food scene, as well as try some amazing donuts. We start at Top Pot Doughnut's Flagship store on 5th. We'll try some of their classics as well as some new flavors depending on seasonality. From here, we'll walk through Belltown highlighting things along the way like the monorail and the Space Needle before arriving at Tempesta where we'll try some of their weekly rotating flavors. From there, we're off to Dahlia Bakery to enjoy some hot and fresh beignets. On to our last stop, we make sure to hit the landmark no visit to Seattle is complete without - Pike Place Market. Here, we'll sample some of the best donuts around from Daily Dozen Doughnuts before calling it a day.

I've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did I discover how much other people do too. Whether it's making, eating, or talking about donuts - it's something I'm truly passionate about. That's why I created the Underground Donut Tour. The Underground Donut Tour is Seattle's only tour focused solely on donuts.

Holly ran our tour and she was awesome! We came during an off time and were the only 2 people on the tour but she did phenomenal when it could have been awkward. She showed us some really cool landmarks, gave us some great history on the city and found some super tasty donut spots. Would definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful tour to take since this was our first time to Seattle. Holly, our wonderful tour guide, gave us wonderful inside scoops about all the locations and of the pike place market! Couldn’t have asked for a better tour to start off the trip with!! Thanks so much for the experience!!

This was super fun! I worried that it would be literally just walking around eating donuts, but it was informative about Seattle’s history, more than just you average donut or basic info, and a really cool unique experience. Our guide also gave us lots of cool info about Seattle too which was interesting and super helpful.

What better way to explore a city than while eating donuts! Holly was a fabulous host with fun stories of the city. Covid protocols in place made this fun AND safe!!

Ate a bunch of half donuts so we could sample many flavours. In total we ate about 3 whole donuts from 3 different places. Bring water because it gets really sugary after the first few
