We’re two brothers, Pierre & Geoffroy, born in the world of wine and vine. Our entire family is working in this field (wine-grower, seller...) so we naturally created our own wine cellar « Le Pied à Terre » in 2018. We chose to be as close as possible to our customers offering an affordable selection of fine wine. We are constantly looking for new samples that will amaze and surprise our customers.
Geoffroy took tasting classes at school and graduated in this field at university and Pierre graduated in trade and wine marketing.
The Pied à Terre is a familial wine cellar in the heart of Bordeaux.
Our desire is to offer you real tasting experiences, unique, fun and original.
We wish to desacralize wine codes and make more accessible this wonderful product, emblematic of our region.
We are sure you will spend a great moment at Le Pied à Terre!

Merci Geoffrey !

A fantastic experience. A very ‘real’ wine tasting experience, without common “the wine reminds me of an autumn leaf” talk. The brothers have a very factual and logical way to explain how to experience wine and I left with a good understanding of the Bordeaux region. I’d recommend this for a crash course experience.
