What you'll do
We will travel through Dublin city center by Kayak. Paddling past (and under) some of Dublin’s most iconic landmarks and taking in the city's old and new quarters, there is no better or memorable way to see Dublin. You might even spot the rarest of all irish creatures: The Dublin River Dolphin - which has the head of a seal and the body...... of a seal! How about that for a story to bring home? No experience necessary! We pride ourselves in making our kayaking experiences as accessible as possible to all, old and young, sporty and not so sporty. If you have any special requirements we will do everything we can to accommodate you, just ask. Our kayaks are all very stable double seater sit-on-top's so you neither need to be experienced nor fit. We even bring along a small support boat in case anyone gets tired and just wants a short tow to take a break. We will return to the same location as we start (only a short walk from the city center) and our experience will take no more than two hours total of which we'll spend approximately 90 minutes on the beautiful river Liffey. We have changing rooms on site where you can safely leave your belongings while we'll be out on the water.
Michael / Jonathan
We are local 'Dubs' who are passionate about our city, the river Liffey and water activities. We've grown up around the river, played in it as children, and now are lucky enough to work and play in it as adults too. Our adventures in the river at a young age no doubt lead us into our careers as outdoor activity specialists. Through this we have worked in everything from kayaks to old tall ships, at home and abroad. Now we are happy to be back in the place where it all started for us and we love to bring locals and visitors alike through our city and show it to them from our perspective

Where you'll be
We'll be launching our trip from our base, just beside the Jeanie Johnston Tall Ship (now turned into a museum of the famine story). From there we will paddle towards the centre, going under O'Connell and the Ha'penny bridge towards Guinness's and back to our base. We have changing rooms available on site where you can safely leave your belongings while we're out on the water.
