What you'll do
We will take a boat to Koh Kret Island, conserved by villagers, where you will experience the traditional local Thai culture. There you will learn how to use batik with the local teacher, an expert who will teach you step by step. Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to a whole cloth, or it's the cloth made using this technique. Batik is made by drawing dots and lines. You can take your batik object home when you are finished. You may also visit the floating market and try the local food. If you have free time, you can shop or ride a bicycle around the island.
