What you'll do

Learn to geocache on a treasure hunt in Golden Gate Park

Join us for a treasure hunt walking adventure through Golden Gate Park. I will show you how to play the game of geocaching along the way. You will be surrounded by gorgeous views and hidden treasures in the third most visited urban park in the United States.

Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt game played by millions around the globe. We find secret treasure containers that are hidden in plain sight, trade a small prize and then replace the container for the next player to discover. You walk by these EVERY DAY without knowing something is hidden there! There are 900 geocache treasures hidden in San Francisco and 50,000 in the Bay Area!

On our trek, we will seek out 4 geocaches together and hike through my favorite gorgeous urban trails and I’ll point out all the awesome parts of the park you need to come back to. I will give you lots of tips on how to find geocache containers and share stories of my favorite geocaching adventures. Along the way, I will point out some hidden secrets of Golden Gate Park that locals don't even know about. Check out more pics from our past adventures on Instagram: @geocachingsf

After our adventure together, you'll be prepared to find any of the 3 million geocaches hidden around the world!

This experience is great for dates, parties & team building! I can also accommodate children if you message me beforehand.

Hi, I'm Jess and I'm a geocaching adventurer! Over the past 15 years I have found 6400 geocaches in 31 states & 5 countries.
I have organized hundreds of geocaching outings around the world. I've found epic geocaches that took me through underground tunnels, abandoned buildings, on adventures that feel similar to National Treasure and found geocache clues hidden in blacklight paint. Every geocache takes me to a new place I've never been before or helps me see my city from a new angle.
I've lived in San Francisco for 6 years and am still discovering new hidden treasures thanks to geocaching. Golden Gate Park is my backyard. I bring all of my friends visiting from out of town on this adventure to show them my favorite hidden places in the park.

Jessica gave us wonderful and lasting insights into the world of geocaching while helping us discover so many new things about Golden Gate Bridge Park. This experience is highly recommended for people of all ages and so much fun. As a group, we were totally impressed with Jessica’s knowledge about the geocaching world and left feeling pretty excited about pursuing this as a hobby. Besides, Jessica also walked us through numerous hidden gems within the park, a lot of which were undiscovered by us through our previous visits. This is hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve been to and totally worth the price. Thanks Jessica for the fantastic experience !

Great experience. We did it with our 17-month old son and even he seemed to enjoy it. This event certainly exceeded our expectations as we had thought it will be purely geocatching but it included sightseeing and storytelling as well. Highly recommended!
