Not only did I cook Thai food, but I also learned about its history and characteristics!
The owner of a historic building near BTS Saphan Taksin Station will host it in the kitchen overlooking the courtyard. We started with an explanation of the history and characteristics of Thai cuisine, and then practiced cooking three dishes: tom kha gai, som tam, and tot moo soup (fried pork meatballs). The lecture was in English, but I was grateful that he spoke in a very easy-to-understand manner.
I was very happy to participate and deepened my understanding of the various herbs and seasonings used in Thai cuisine.I hope that courses of different levels will be set up in the future!
