What you'll do

(St. Mary's Glacier)
Join us on a hike up to St. Mary's Glacier all year round (transportation provided from Denver or we can meet at St. Mary's). We will ascend through the stunning Colorado forest and end with a breathtaking panoramic lake view. Swimming/sledding included :) This is one of our favorite hikes in Colorado (1.5 miles round-trip).

(Beau Jo's Pizza)
Afterward, we will eat lunch at Beau Jo's, which has been around since 1880 and is one of Colorado's hidden gems. Idaho Springs has a population of 1,717 people and is a gold mining town founded in 1859 during the Gold Rush.

(Indian Hot Springs)
Next, we visit another historic landmark and soak in the natural geothermal cave pools, which will be perfect for our muscles after our hike and is included with the price.

(Due to COVID, access to the caves and pool will be limited to a max of 10 at a time. Caves are on a first-come first-served basis. When they are busy they will be doing timed entries every two hours. However, most of the time there is little to no wait time.

If you want an experience with little risk and a whole lot of reward, this tour is for you. I provide all the equipment, just come properly dressed and get ready to explore all of what colorful Colorado has to offer in one single day.

I am the founder of Adventure Colorado Tours and am a Colorado native. My family has been here for over 100 years. Nature, hiking, and camping is a major part of my life. I frequently attend services they offer to improve my outdoor skills. I hike 2-3 times a week and camp nearly once a month. Camping and hiking allows me to appreciate nature and observe wildlife. I have camped at countless locations throughout Colorado, with groups, by myself, and with my grandfather, who mentored me and was a camp host and fisherman in the state of Colorado for several decades.

We know all the tips and tricks for safe hiking in all climates, especially for those of you coming from lower altitudes. We will share breathtaking bits of nature discovered over 20 years of experience.

Tyler was so welcome and really made us feel comfortable, especially as beginner hikers. Not only did we get a more intimate experience with our smaller group, but as someone who’s terrified of heights I felt comfortable along the whole trail. It’s an absolutely beautiful hike, amazing pizza shop and HOT hot springs 😂. The whole experience was incredibly thought out and a wonderful experience. Thanks again, Tyler!

If you are contemplating whether to choose this excursion or try something else, my suggestion is to choose this hike TODAY! Every part of the experience was amazing, even with COVID still going on. Tyler and Noah were perfect with their hosting of this excursion and made us feel super comfortable. The glacier hike is perfect for any level of hiking, the pizza is TO DIE FOR, and the hot springs.....well lets just say they are HOT and refreshing :) This was so perfect for my birthday trip, and it will be well worth an experience I can tell "Bean" about in the future.
