What you'll do

Our tour lasts 4 to 5 hours and includes part of the historical center and the Santa Fe, Los Martires and Teusaquillo neighborhoods. During the tour we visit the Parque Nacional, a coffee roaster where we see how Colombian coffee is selected and prepared, we taste fruits in a traditional market, pass by the National Museum and bullfighting plaza, where we often enter, and we play Colombia’s national sport, tejo.

The tour covers some 13 kilometers, mostly flat. It’s a relaxed tour, with many stops where we talk about history, culture, politics, urban development and other subjects. All of our guides speak English, and for private tours we have also have French-, German- and Portuguese-speaking guides available.

Our bicycles have aluminum frames, front suspension, 18 to 21 gears and Shimano parts. For tour groups of more than six people a mechanic/support person also accompanies the group.

Hi, my name is Daniel, a professional tour guide. I studied tourism for four years and now have nationwide tourism experience. Through my experience, I've reached the conclusion that many Colombian tour agencies give only classic tours, rather than taking that next step.

I have had the opportunity to meet all kinds of tourists and they have congratulated me on my excellent explanation of Colombian history and, naturally, my high level of customer service, based on respect.

I love coffee, emeralds, Colombian fruits and beer. But, above all, I love Colombia's national sport, tejo!

This was a really spectacular bike tour with Mike. It was so varied, and full of information. I enjoyed riding the bike, as I did tasting the various fruits, and the great coffee. A truly remarkable experience!

Honestly if you can, then just do it. I was really having a hard mostly because I suck at riding bikes but they made sure I was ok the whole time. Never got left behind, very nice people. Great places to go both good and bad places in the city. I had a good laugh and that’s all that matters to me. I would do it again but after I learn how to properly ride a bike without hurting myself lol.

Expect to spend the whole day. There is a lot to see, and they don't cut the corners short. Really the best way to see and feel the city. I ended up going back the second day for a "sporty" version where we climbed the mountains to the East. Amazing views!

really great way to get acclimated with Bogota and Colombia, including a history and landmarks. Also great insight into street art & graffiti--there are many in Bogota.
