Hello I am Francisco a California resident since 2006. I have walked the Cultural and Latino areas of the city so many times, and being a Latino myself, I decided I should share them with all travelers or newcomers. I love to share the art, street art, craft, food and fun of the Americas, and as a language trainer and translator I am in contact with all these topics and ready to inform all of you

Francisco not only helped me discover places with great food (e.g., pupusas, conchas, tamales), but he also took us to see the most beautiful murals in the Mission District. I am thrilled with this tour (and the gorgeous pictures I took) -- oh, and he got us a discount at a store with beautiful artesanias from South and Central America because he knew the owner. Don't forget to take advantage of that!

I booked this last minute as a previous tour cancelled on me and I'm glad I did. There was only me and one other and I felt that that made it all the more personal. Francisco is passionate about the latino cultural district and is knowledgeable about the area. He also picked out some really good food stops (I crave pupusas, tamales all that good food!). Good pick and great host

Very very interesting. There is so much going on in the Mission district that it is difficult to sort things out. Francisco made it super easy to understand and to immerse ourselves. The food was fantastic!

This Mission tour with Francisco was awesome! I really feel like I got to experience the true mission district and not just the parts most tourists see. Francisco not only brought us past all the great murals, but he knew the history behind them. Also, the food we had was great! It was all local and freshly made. Make sure to come hungry! After the tour I felt like i really got to the heart of the district. This is a must do!

This tour was lots of fun! Francisco truly is passionate about the art of murals and teaches you tons about it. He is knowledgeable about tons of other cultural issues and even helped us learn some Spanish during the trip. We also ate plenty of yummy food. I got much more out of our tour than I have looking at the murals on my own.

This tour is a once-in-a-lifetime experience truly. Francisco had so much knowledge of the area and the culture, and I felt like we learned so much about the Mission district and its murals. Absolutely loved this tour!
