What you'll do

Join our Cape Peninsula day trip with a local guide to see all the beauty the Cape Peninsula has to offer!

The first part of our trip is towards Hout Bay harbour checking out the Twelve Apostles Mountains in the background. Once in Hout Bay, you can choose to do an optional boat cruise to visit the Cape Fur Seal colony (approximately R110 and highly recommended).

Shortly after leaving the Harbour we make a short stop to enjoy a light morning snack and take in the breathtaking views along Chapman's Peak drive.

Then we visit the endangered (and very entertaining) penguins at Boulders Beach in Simons Town. This is an optional activity for 50 minutes (Approximately R160). Otherwise you can take a stroll along Seaforth Beach (where you might also see some penguins).

Our final stop of the tour is Cape Point Nature Reserve, a beautiful protected area with free roaming wildlife and incredible landscapes. The guide will provide you with a healthy, 'lekker' picnic lunch!

This will be followed by a stroll to the Cape Point lighthouse and then an easy hike to the most South-Western point on the African continent (+/- 40 minutes). Walk along the spectacular Diaz Beach encircled by dramatic cliffs and wild waves until you reach the famous Cape of Good Hope.

Includes: Transport, driver, local guide, morning snack, lunch, Cape Point entrance fees
Excludes: Optional activities

The Cape of Good Hope peninsula is heaven on earth. A must do, and a bucket list adventure. Bring your camera - there will be MANY “screensaver” shots to bring home. The drive was beautiful, the stops to visit the seals and penguins were very special. And the view from the most Southwest tip of the African continent was over the top. Very windy there, so bring that windbreaker jacket or extra layer. The pace of the day was relaxed and not rushed, although we covered a lot of ground. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour, if you like to hike this experience is for you. Breathtaking landscapes and a very friendly guide. Sadly the time at boulder's beach wasn't longer.

The Bazbus tour of the Cape of Good Hope was a great experience. Booking on Airbnb, I was not sure how many people would be on the tour, but we had 15 total and this did not feel crowded or cramped. The guide, Björn, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and tried to get to know everybody and connect the group. All of the activities had adequate time, and the hikes were actually more than I expected which I was very pleased with. The bus was comfortable and our driver was great and also very knowledgeable. This was a great value- all I paid for outside of the Airbnb payment was the penguins and seal tour. The national park entrance was included, and lunch was a lot more than expected and was great. The only Problem I ran into was that there was a pickup confusion, and the guide and driver did not know I would be at a new pickup after the host had confirmed they would pick me up there. If you change pickup location within 24 hours of the trip, maybe ask for the guides contact info. Would definitely recommend this experience, it was a great way to fit in a lot in one day, see wildlife, and meet new people.

Ihan loistava retki Cape Townista Cape Pointtiin.

This tour is AMAZING!! Do it! Within a day we got to visit so much places such as Boulders Beach and the cutest penguins, as well as the seal island (definitely worth it to do the cruise), the Cape of Good Hope with incredible landscape and not to forget the most scenic drive ever: Chapman’s Peak Drive (driving between the mountain and the sea: wow!). Our guide, Diane was energetic and had a lot of knowledge about the area. She always made sure everyone had a great day. The morning snack and picnic lunch were also really good and filling. We even spotted wild animals (ostriches, eland & baboons) when we drove back to Cape Town. They stopped for a moment so that we could take good photos.

Globally, we had a nice experience to the Cape Peninsula. Our guide was very interesting and had many things to say during the route. However, there was a miscommunication regarding the departure time, so the bus left without us. Someone from BazBus had to take us to meet the group and the guide. Also the bus was not very comfortable !
