It's true that no one should come to Kenya without experiencing the wonder and beauty of its landscape and wildlife. But it's equally true that no one should leave Kenya without having contributed to the betterment of the people who live and struggle here on a daily basis. Accomplish both, and you'll have the trip of a lifetime. Join Padox on an extremely safe, guided tour of Africa's largest urban slum, to not only understand the immense challenges facing a population that lives on an average of $1 per day, but to get a first-hand look at the people who are dedicating their lives to giving the children who live here a very real chance for the future. The Seed Foundation has built an educational and nutritional oasis in the center of one of the most challenging places on Earth, and it might be the best experience I've ever had in Kenya (and I've been to Masai Mara, Amboselli, and Lake Nakuru). After an educational walking tour of the streets of Kibera, where Padox (and Brian, one of the school's wonderful teachers who accompanied us) had thoughtful answers to every single question I had, we visited their school where more than 150 students are receiving two meals a day and a traditional education five days a week. I was greeted with excited hellos, beautiful smiles and joyous waves in every classroom, and was not only treated to amazing songs and dance by the students, but was even invited to participate, wisely heeding the advice of famed Kenyan, Dan Eldon, who once said, “It is foolish and hazardous not to dance in Africa.” This incredibly inexpensive tour is worth many times its price, and every penny goes to the children benefitting from this amazing sanctuary. Take this tour and you will leave Kenya knowing that you've contributed to the solution and the future, and I promise it will be THE story you tell when friends and family ask about your trip to Kenya.

Kibera is home to hundreds of thousands of people. As an expat in NairobiI I am acquainted with many good people who live there. I appreciated visiting Padox's Seed School and seeing the dear children who learn there. A teacher, Ryan, walked with me from the school to the Nairobi Dam. I always felt safe. It was a very worthwhile introduction to Kibera.

This was an incredible experience - very eyeopening tour, must do it 100%. Beyond anything I could have expected, recommend only this amazing and sacrificing guy Padox who has been developing seed foundation on his own to help build school and at least basic education for pour kids of Kiberia . No worries about safety as you ll be in the best hands. Nice to see where the money goes - to help rebuild the education and school their. And definitely the most amazing Airbnb experience I have ever been on and left me think much about. ALSO for extra charge Padox picked us up and dropped of to our hotel, need just to ask him abou it. It was very convenient and safe tour from the beginning to the end.
