Douglas grew up in the Santa Fe art scene and managed a rockin' contemporary art gallery. He started his art career on the walls of his grandparent's home while visiting as a child. He is pretty sure his grandparents would be proud of his tour.

Eileen is a mosaic junky and has been working with ceramic mosaics for 15 years. She also ran a large painting company where she honed her stenciling and painting skills. Eileen loves sharing Austin's cool art scene with others.

Douglas is an amazing guide. It was great to learn about the history of street art and graffiti. Douglas answered all my questions. It was easy to meet up with the host. The tour was engaging and educating. It was obvious that street art, graffiti and art is general was Douglas' passion. Managed to learned a little about history and Austin of today during the tour.

Great art walk with Douglas; he was very knowledgeable about the history of street art in Austin and provided great insight. Douglas knew a lot about the artists work he showed and provided great suggestions for additional art excursions. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Austin with an interest in street art or anyone local wanting to learn more about their city.

Douglas was an amazing host! The weather was a little spotty, with projected rain and storms, but he and Eileen kept in touch to let us know whether or not we would be able to do the tour, and well before it started. The tour was amazing, and we learned so much history and culture about the area along with the art. The tour ended at a great coffee shop within walking distance to 6th street.
