About your host

This experience is hosted by my friend and me. My friend is a master of Sado (tea ceremony) and I'm an organizer of Japanese culture experience, such as Japanese traditional tea ceremony, Koto (Japanese instrument) performance, Japanese ​Calligraphy and Japanese Home Cooking etc. I'm also an Airbnb host having a listing so I enjoy having people over.

What we’ll do

We will meet at the Station and walk to Sumiyoshi Shrine, which is one of the oldest shrines in Japan. There is a main hall which is a national treasure and a beautiful red bridge. Then, we will walk to a traditional Wagashi shop (Japanese Traditional Confectionaries) where you will be able to choose one Wagashi for your tea ceremony. Where you'll be

We will visit Sumiyoshi Shrine and a local wagashi store. After that, we will go through the Kishu Kaido to our tea room which in the old Japanese style house.
