About your host

I was born in NY but grew up in London. My colleague Sarah is from Wales and spent time in NY. We love London and discovering what’s new and fun to do here. We curate events to throw a spotlight on independent artisans and craftsmen, shops, restaurants and galleries.

What we’ll do

We (I, and my colleague Sarah Derriey, have a company - www.backyardlondon.com) want to show you a corner of London steeped in history – from Elizabethan naughtiness to radical communism. Clerkenwell oozes with cafes and restaurants and we'll taste coffee from one of the early cafes of London's Little Italy. It is an area of creativity with quirky, independent shops and we'll introduce you to…

What else you should know
