About your host

I am a translator, writer, and editor based in Paris. Winner of the Ezra Pound Award for poetry in translation, I was an official translator at the 2012 Poetry Parnassus in London, an assembly of poets from all the Olympic nations in the lead-up the London Olympic Games. I love Paris, literature, and the Lost Generation and looking forward to sharing those passions with you.

What we’ll do

"All you have to do is write one true sentence..." wrote Ernest Hemingway about his daily routine in Paris. "Write the truest sentence that you know." Join us as we explore the Paris that enchanted Hemingway as a young man. We'll follow in his footsteps through the Latin Quarter, immersing ourselves in the lost generation of American writers and reliving the 1920's as we summon inspiration to jot…

What else you should know

Bring your favorite pen or pencil! Bring an umbrella too in case it rains. Time will be split about 50-50 between walking and writing.

What I’ll provide

Equipment
A small Moleskine

What to bring

Your favorite pen or pencil
An umbrella (in case of rain)
