What you'll do
In a 2 hour session, I'll teach you the principles of throwing clay into a vessel on the potter's wheel. This will include preparing the clay and centering it into a ball while it spins. Then we'll open the spinning ball of clay accurately and draw the walls up to a cylinder, shaping it into a jug, cup, or bowl. From there I'll cure the clay, fire it if you wish. After 4 weeks, your project will be ready for a coat of coloured glass glaze which you can do yourself if you come back in or have us do for you. Book those 2nd and 3rd classes at www.thepotteryshed.com.au ($59 each). We can also ship your completed project internationally.
