What you'll do
Lace up the trail running shoes and we are off on a 15km trail run... starting at Red Hill we cruise along the road side trails until we reach the Arthurs Seat State Park, once in the park we'll be enjoying the inland shady bush trails that criss-cross through the park, trails that only 'locals' know of, past hidden dams and pretty creeks. We'll soon reach Arthurs Seat, here we'll admire the stunning views across the Port Phillip Bay before heading into Seawinds State Park and Main Ridge. We’ll run along endless sweet single track trails, running past historic sites, run-down shacks, multi-million dollar mansions and vineyards, and if we are lucky we'll hopefully spot the odd koala, kangaroo or wallaby in the woodlands.
Johnny 'The Seagull'
Hey, I'm The Seagull (Johnny) and I'm an avid and highly experienced trail runner. I've spent the last 15yrs mapping the extensive trail network of the Mornington Peninsula, I'm so lucky to have this stunning location as my 'back garden'. I'm a qualified running coach through Athletics Victoria and I'm the founder of the only trail running club on the Peninsula, Peninsula Trail Runners (PTR).
We'll finish the run at a local cafe for a coffee and cake and have time to chat about the adventure.
Local transport can be arranged, additional fee will apply.
