What you'll do
We will meet in front of La Moneda in Santiago to go to the terminal and take a bus to Valparaíso. The bus ride is fun and relaxing, you´ll see the country side and vinneyards on the way to Valparaíso. This is a both active and chill experience. Once in Valparaíso, we will start with a visit to the very authetic fish market where you´ll be able to see how it´s cut and sold. Then we´ll go for a walk by the beach, not your average beach but rather a dramatic port beach scenary of dark blue water and black rocks, both relaxing and inspiring. After that we will take a fun ride through the flat area of the city in the historical trolly buses. We will then get off at Plaza Anibal Pinto to check out the historical and World Heritage side of town at Cerro alegre and Concepción, that will also give us a chance to ride the famous 100 years old funiculars. At around lunch time I will give you about an hour and a half to get some food, the options you´ll find go from having an empanada to having an actual meal at a restaurant with a gorgeous view of the port. The choice is yours. (cost of lunch is not included, just the time for it is). After lunch we will go to Plaza Sotomayor and the port area where you can get some souvenirs if you wished to. After this we get back to the bus terminal to take a bus back to Santiago.
Tickets for the bus to Valparaíso and all public transportation are included.
