Where you'll be

Located at the urban rooftop apiary at the Cotton Factory. The former site of the Imperial Cotton Co. Mill built in 1900 is a prime example of adaptive urban reuse. It has been transformed into a creative industries complex, with space for workshops, studios for artists and office space for creative professionals. Many are drawn to the building by its unique aesthetic and its historic charm.

Excellent experience. Luc was very knowledgable. His passion for bees was evident. It was wonderful to get to see the bees up close in this industrial urban setting.

Brilliant tour! The passion & knowledge that Luc has for organic bee keeping is second to none & because of this our tour was bursting with interesting facts. There is plenty of time for questions and photos (which you’d be crazy not to take given the roof top views!). I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn more about bee keeping/organic honey production or for anyone who is just looking for a great day out!

Had a great time! Luc is very knowledgeable and engaging. He even gave us a tour of the building before our beekeeping experience.

My three young kids and myself had an amazing time with Luc. His presentation with the bees was entertaining and informative. We felt safe and comfortable on the roof with the active hives. We felt privileged to be able to hold some bees and the honey that we got to take home was delicious! Would definitely recommend to everyone!
