We very much enjoyed out Urban Bee Keeping experience with Luc. He is clearly an expert in the field and the experience felt very safe and enjoyable. We were given the opportunity to taste honey straight from the hive and even to handle the frames loaded with live bees and honey. An interesting and exciting experience particularly for anyone considering starting their own Hive (Luc offers more in-depth training for that as well). Luc gives participants a small jar of honey but there is also the opportunity to purchase additional products.

I took my dad on a tour because he’s been interested in beekeeping. He asked Luc a lot of questions! Luc was great with answering them all. He is very knowledgeable about beekeeping. I appreciated the fact that he left his mask on throughout the tour, despite it being really hot on the roof.

This experience with Luc was beyond amazing. His passion for bee keeping was commendable. An outstanding example of how one person can make a difference in our world. His knowledge was enlightening and his communication of this was clear and easily understood. Luc is very conscientious for the safety of his guests, we never felt in any danger from the bees. The honey from his bees is sinfully delicious. A truly enjoyable and informative experience I would highly recommend this experience.

Our beekeeping experience with Luc was wonderful! We felt so fortunate to be able to share in such a unique experience. It was an intimate event, with just my husband and I so he had lots of opportunity to ask questions. We’re keen on doing all we can to help the bees, and Luc was happy to share tips without being pushy. We tasted honey fresh from the hive, but loved hearing all the ways that the bees are kept happy and safe. This was a lovely way to end our anniversary trip.
