If you are visiting Tokyo I highly recommend you book this experience! It was so nice to take a break from the business of Tokyo and have this lesson on samurai culture. Yusuke was an AMAZING host who kept in contact with me prior to our booking. He made sure he had clothes long enough for my husband who is very tall and clothes that would fit our toddler son. From the tea ceremony to the lesson on katanas to Yusuke’s performance, we had an unforgettable time. On top of all that he was so kind and patient whenever I had to step aside to entertain our son. This was definitely one of, if not our favorite part of our trip to Tokyo.

The experience was amazing! You can immediately tell Yusuke is very passionate about what he does, and he’s been great in guiding us through this journey. We enjoyed learning about Japan tradition, a great tea ceremony and trained with swords. We were even able to cleanly cut through the bamboo at the end even though it was our first time dealing with real katana. The final performance was great to see! Throughout the whole experience Yusuke has been very friendly and helpful, showing us how to safely handle these weapons, and making sure we have pics and videos to keep as memories. Definitely recommended!!!
