Our family booked a private experience with Yusuke and it exceeded our expectations. Wearing kimonos, learning about katanas, practicing thrashing with our own katanas and watching Yusuke’s performance was such a unique and memorable experience for our family, especially our two boys who were in Tokyo for their first time. Yusuke made everything super easy and was extremely patient with the boys. Everyone agreed this was our best memory from this trip. Highly recommended.

This was a highly memorable experience! Yusuke was just wonderful—kind, patient, skilled, personable, knowledgeable. had an incredible experience with Yusuke. He was absolutely excellent and clearly knows a lot about samurai history and culture. The way he explained everything made the whole experience fascinating and memorable. There was even a person in our group who was quite rude and was honestly bothering me a bit. What impressed me the most was Yusuke’s patience and maturity in handling the situation. If it were me, I probably would have told the guy to leave because he was very disrespectful. But Yusuke remained calm, patient, and professional, and managed to handle it in a way that kept the experience exceptional for everyone in the group. I’ve already recommended this experience to friends of mine who are planning to visit Japan, and I truly recommend it to anyone. I even told my friends that I’d pay them back the full price if they didn’t enjoy it — because honestly, it’s basically impossible not to love it. Thank you so much, Yusuke!

I am a teacher and performer using Japanese swords to express ancient tradition. I have practiced swordsmanship for 20 years and hold a fifth dan black belt in Tou-dou. I have taught and demonstrated sword skills to over 5,000 people from more than 50 countries.
