What you'll do

We start up our tour in the morning with a traditional breakfast at a local spot to craft our local experience.

Then our walking tour starts together with Mohammed V Square "Pigeons Square" that forms the central hub of Casablanca’s new town and is home to some of the most striking architecture in the city.

Along with the neighboring United Nations Square. It’s a large palm-tree lined public square represents the place where the old and new town meet.

Followed by a relaxed walk through the Medina (old town) of Casablanca. Dip into the daily life of the locals and travel back in time while rambling through the narrow streets. Discover some influences from the French colonial era after visiting the bustling marketplace where clothes, spices and traditional leather goods are offered by handi-crats workers.

Up to a real must-see monument “Hassan II Mosque” with its impressive world’s tallest minaret. Admire the building from the outside and listen to the incredible facts about its dimension.. The mosque is known by its high minaret of 210 meters.

Finally, we’ll get to know La Corniche. At the magnificent seafront as we may enjoy a walk or simply relax in a cafe with a view of the Atlantic Ocean that offers a less traditional and more holiday escape-side of Morocco. You can dip into the water if you feel daring.

Last, we finalize our tour with a delicious Moroccan lunch
Other things to note

I have been a certified Tour Guide in Casablanca since 2017, and an Airbnb Superhost.

After the Arab Spring ignited in 2011 to multiple North African countries, Libya was one of the effected countries with that Virus called Revolution. For this reasons, I was urged to travel to a peaceful place where there are no gunshots. So I decided to travel to Morocco which was a radical investment into my soul, and an injection of love with tourism and adventure for me because it was the 1st time I experience traveling.

While I am here I admired the country and decided to settle down in Morocco to have plenty of time to discover its endless beauty, then I realized that this charm should be shared with visitors, and that is exactly why I am here ;)

Sharing my expertise of the country and the culture with you :)

Tarik is a truly phenomenal tour guide and, if you are even in Casablanca, I strongly encourage you to take a tour with him!!!!! We started with a traditional Moroccan breakfast that included delicious tea and bread with a special honey and almond butter, toured the streets of the Medina seeing all of sorts of beautiful traditional Moroccan dress, jewelry, cookware, spices, soaps, and produce, saw the beautiful Hassan II Mosque (and Tarik was a fabulous photographer and indulged me with lots of beautifully framed photos), walked along La Corniche, and finished with a delicious traditional tagine. He was so friendly and helpful, and I truly believe he helped me make the most of my experience in Casablanca. He even went out of his way to suggest things to do in my own - whether it be in Casablanca or day trips. I was so frustrated when everyone told me before my trip to skip Casablanca and go right to the other cities - Tarik helped me know they all overlooked this gem of a city filled with kind people, wonderful food, beautiful architecture, and rich history! I am so grateful to have me him and taken his tour! (PS - I contacted Tarik before I left for Casablanca. He was super helpful at answering any questions I had from how to pack to how to get to my place from the airport/the best way to get a cab. It was really kind!)

Tarik is an amazing guide. He shared with our group a very unique experience of the city. We got to discover a lot and Tarik was always happy to answer our questions. It is, by far, the BEST walking tour I’ve taken! Good food, good places and above all, good company! Thank you so much!

Tarik puts on a truly great walking tour! This has been the highlight of our Moroccan vacation thus far. He took us through the old medina, the (outside of) the Hassan II Mosque, and the Corniche area. I felt like we were given a special insight to the old medina, eating a traditional breakfast at a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant we would never have considered entering had we not had a guide leading us. Tarik is knowledgeable, personable, interesting, and did a fantastic job of sharing his culture with us. The walk itself was nicely paced, stopping frequently to taste a fig or get a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice or to listen to Tarik educates us about something interesting. I give Tarik's walking tour my highest recommendation.

The tour with Tarik is a great way to get to know Casablanca! We started the tour with a typical breakfast. Afterwards Tarik took us on an extensive walk through the public squares, through the souk and the small streets of the old town. We also have seen "Rick's Cafe", known from the movie "Casablanca". In the end we arrived at the Hassan II Mosque. From there we continued by taxi to the very popular seaside resorts along the coast. Here we walked along the wonderful promenade. Later we went back to the city center by taxi. We ended the tour in a typical Moroccan restaurant. Tarik showed us how to eat the Tajine with bread and answered all our questions. It was a cozy get-together at the end of the very nice tour.
