What you'll do
We’ll meet in my home studio for a hands-on block printing workshop geared towards artists of all levels—including complete beginners. I'll take you through the process of designing, carving, and printing your own custom stamp. You'll work at my desk, mixing custom colors and stamping your design onto provided items to create unique, handmade pieces. You'll also see a lot of my personal work and get an inside look at how a handmade business runs in San Francisco.
Class supplies Blocks, ink, printing tools, items to print on, and a detailed instruction packet to take home
I'm an illustrator and textile designer. I own my small business called The Recoverie where I design custom textiles for the interior design industry. My work has been carried by West Elm and other shops in SF. I started teaching my process about four years ago and have since hosted hundreds of students, most of whom have no previous art experience.
