I am a promoter of Mexican culture, I am passionate about sharing a true local scenario. Currently i m high school teacher and I enjoy making this world a better place. I studied English and a bit of Portuguese, I love know the culture of other places at the same time that I share mine and understand each other.
Every weekend I go to the markets of the community and I always find something new that never ceases to amaze me, besides I enjoy walking through those streets.
Cancun is more than hotels and beaches, I love meeting friendly and adventurous people.

It was wonderful to be immersed in the local culture. I felt completely safe, and learned a lot about Mexican foods and culture.

Good experience with our hosts. It was a cool market with lots to see. Huge! Our hosts were nice and welcoming. lots of yummy drinks, dessert, and tried a sheep brain taco. was hoping for a little more local cuisines, but what we had was yummy

Celeste and Roger were great hosts. They took us to one of the local markets in town with lots of different foods and local crafts.

I'm glad that we were able to have this experience- it was very nice to see the market and try some of the local food and drink and hear about the area

If you like traveling on beat-up min-bus ( no air) in smog filled, congested traffic for half a hour and then walking another 3 blocks to the start of this over crowded street fair (nothing but Chinese rip-offs) then this tour is for you. My guide tried his best to show me a good time and I guess it was my fault I don't speak Spanish, but I was the only person on this trip. To be fair the food was good but there was nothing unique about the trinkets.

we got off to a rough start because our flight was delayed but Celeste and Rogelio were great and worked with us. celeste was I'll but Rogelio met us with a smile and took us via taxi to the real local market. we tried lots of tasty foods and thoroughly enjoyed the market. this excursion is not where you would purchase souvenirs, this is where the locals shop. we highly recommend this adventure to learn more about local cuisine and Rogelio wove stories and information throughout! lots of walking but such fun! five plus stars!
