My soul needed a creative reset and this class was the answer. This was so “out of the box” that it has my imagination running wild. If you want something new, something creative... take this class! You will not regret it. And John is a perfect host and teacher. And you get to blow stuff up. Who doesn’t want to do that???

John has been a great host who loves to share his passion and his ideas with us. He is really communicative and that's what this experience is about besides obviously ceramics and blowing things up. He obviously will not reveal all his secrets but you will get a really good idea of how and why he applies certain technics after years of studying and researching in his field. I am not in pottery or crafts that much but I found it very inspiring and can highly recommend this experience.

John is a very interesting character with a lot of enthusiasm for his craft. I enjoyed learning about him just as much as I enjoyed exploding the clay. This was a unique experience, and coupled with a lunch at the restaurant there afterwards I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are 25 little studios in the complex. Be sure to allow time to explore.
